If you really want to get one and have a multi-region DVD player, you might find a copy for sale on eBay. However be warned that they appear to be DVD-R's, so the quality might be spotty.

It's also available in Brazil. It's a region 4 DVD, and NTSC. Hard to find, though: seems out of print, although it came out in 2003.

It'll be released in the US on 10/04/2005 on DVD by Koch Lorber Films. Original Italian language with subtitles in English, widescreen.

Call me whatever you want, but I liked this movie and have seen it multiple times, and personally think it is worthy of a Criterion release, what else do they have by Pasolini; Salo, not the best example of a Pasolini.
