I'm curious. When you have soldiers from 2 or more different countries, that may drill/parade differently, what is the custom in getting them to parade in unison?
For example, on about-face, Americans move their foot back first to initiate the turn, while British/Canadians turn first than step to bring the foot together.
What is the custom for units/squads with different soldiers?

They would settle for one country's parade style. At least that's what I've experienced before. Idk about Americans.

In the case of the First Special Service Force, they tended to mix the two styles. if they were commanded by an american, they would respond to "right face!" if a canadian "right turn!" and so on
