TOS didn't have a huge budget and the prop department frequently used everyday objects in creative ways (McCoy's medical sensors were salt and pepper shakers, for one example). I'd bet a weeks pay those objects are indeed bowling balls.
There are 8.2 billion people in the world. 8.19 billion of them have never heard of and don't give a fuck about Charlie Kirk. Get over it.
