I was expecting to bounce off this in the first episode but I'm already on episode 7 and still loving it
there's also a healthy amount of misogyny in almost every episode which is refreshing
each season having 20 hour long episodes is also pretty awesome since nowadays it's normal for modern shows to only have like 6-10 episodes per season
some of the sets look awful but the remastered visuals no doubt make it much easier to consume

I watched a few episodes recently and it holds up remarkably well.
Still my favorite Star Trek series.
After watching Strange New Worlds, and boy has that show gotten strange, watching the original is like a breath of fresh air. -

i really don't know why anyone should be offended if they were educated about the context of the time and not simply indoctrinated to be offended at stuff that doesn't affect them, unless they drag it into their world. -

It was one of the first shows to have racially integrated cast, surprised MAGAs aren’t triggered by that.
