Hope this isn't too late~~~~~the baby was portrayed by 10 month old Jolie Stevens.Thats all the information I could find except that June (Rocky and Bullwinkel) Foray, supplied the voice for the baby. BTW I am fortunate enough to have a copy of the EXHIBITOR'S CAMPAIGN BOOK from MGM for The Unsinkable Molly Brown. I got the information from there. Hope this answers your question. At long last, somebody answered! Thanks so much, chett. My mom and I watch that movie frequently, and we've always wondered who played the baby; it's my mom's favorite scene. I appreciate the time you took to look it up for me.

Hummmm.Yes always wondered about this. If they had used my baby, the name would have to be put up in lights!!!!
It is after all, a very memorable scene.
