Ramon Rojo is obviously a good shot. After five good hits on the heart failing to kill Joe why wouldn't he just think 'Screw it!' and blow his head off. Must have become obvious he was wearing a plate, and if not, if Ramon really believed he was some kind of supernatural being absorbing the bullets, surely you'd still try and kill him with a head shot?

Clint was really playing with Ramon beliefs about shooting at the heart, but yeah, he was really risking his life
But you got to understand, he is a mythical hero, I mean, the guy rolls the barrel with only one bullet in it, just before shooting Ramon

I've always said the same thing. Just shoot him in the head. I think he can go under the heading of typical dumb villain.
