Eddie says something & Lily says "Where did you hear that?" Eddie says "I heard it on TV." Lily replies "I knew those terrible families on TV were a bad influence on children!" I can only wonder how she'd feel about the Kardashians & their ilk!

They were were probably talking about Leave It to Beaver, Father Knows Best, etc. A rare case where the scriptwriters had the munsters viewing Normies as ugly. Of course they had to deal with Normies in every day commerce. Something of a plot hole.

Herman does mention Father Knows Best in one episode and Grandpa actually watches My Three Sons in another. You can hear the theme song play
