I visited a few the filming locations for The Birds a while back. You can check some photos at

I was there a few years ago, and was surprised how far the "school" is from the town, as Hitchcock makes it seem, with his editing, that it's just up the hill.
While In Northern California we also checked out the family home in Santa Rosa that was used in
                  Shadow of a Doubt
                  .
What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

Yeah, so was I! That's the magic of filmmaking for you. I saw the Shadow of a Doubt house when I did the Scream locations. It's right across the street from Tatum's House.

If you're ever in Vienna, there's a weekly
                      The Third Man
tour (at least there was in 1995), which is really fun.
The most fun "location tour" we ever did was Monument Valley, imagining all those John Ford classics.
I'll check you your blog over the weekend.

Actually, I've got nothing to add just marking this for me, so I can get to your blog when I have time (family illness draining most of our time).

                            Nice and cozy but boring.
