This is one of the best quotes from TOL, and this is one of the best episodes. It's the final episode of season one. I had seen it way back when, but didn't remember all of the details. There are no hokey
"bears"
or rubber monsters, just excellent sci-fi, horror, atmospheric cinematography and music. It also boasts a dynamite cast: Vera Miles, Cedric Hardwicke, Scott Marlow, David McCallum and Barbara Rush.
Two female friends poison a sadistic blackmailer, and stuff him into the trunk of his Rolls Royce. While fleeing, they come upon an isolated house containing a time machine. They fight to bury him before the inventor, Tone Hobart, is able to re-animate the murdered man by tilting him back into the past.
