In all fairness, Eunice Gayson as Sylvia Trench was literally the first "Bond Girl", not Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder. Oh, sureher part was small. But in the history of the Bond movies she was the first. Just saying.

Every girl who 007 beds IS a
BOND GIRL
But the one he ends up with at the end is the main one.

I loved Sylvia Trench since the beginning.
She was very modern and ahead of her times, she didn't mind getting in Bond's room and use just his shirt, she accepted the invitation and surprosed him looking very provocative. -

Also she is the only one to appear twice. Apparently Lois Maxwell was offered the choice of Sylvia Trench or Moneypenny. I think she made the right choice although, according to Roger Moore's book her totsl time on screen in less than thirty minutes and she has less that two hundred words.

I think, she is a good character. I always thought she would have made a better wife for Bond than the one he married. And the actress has worn very well as well. a few years ago when they had a lot of old Bond girls on Masterchef, she looked better than many who were years younger than her.
