Pretty good for a B movie

I thought the acting was pretty good, for a B movie. Unlike some others, I thought Linden from across the hall did a good acting job, as did the landlady. The mechanic was also very natural. Not so good was the dr. The lead actress was excellent. Not A material, but very good for a B movie. Very natural in the scenes where she is acting normally, and appropriately weird when she's in her ghostly state.
It dragged on a bit longer than I liked, particularly with the organ music.
All in all, a good watch. I'd never seen it before, so it was interesting. It's Zombie night on TCM, I think. -

Just a few small and probably rather nit-picky things to add. I found the car race and subsequent crash scenes a little off-putting. While I understand the time/era this was made and with the budget involved, but the scene across the bridge in particular could have been speeded up so it actually looked like they were racing. Same with the crash itself.
I mean really, who makes an almost 90 degree right turn in the middle of a bridge for no reason? A reason could certainly have been scripted in, and with a negligeable extra cost. such as one of the other girls in the car panicking, arguing with the driver to stop, and her accidentally grabbing the wheel. Anything. As the scene stands in the movie they were apparently crossing the bridge side by side going about 4 mph when the girls suddenly for no reason drove to the right and went off the bridge, again at the snails' pace of 3-4 mph. It looked pathetic. Not a movie ruiner, just pathetic, and was in my opinion easily fixable.
I had no problems with the actors or their performances per se. I did however find myself wishing our leading lady would have given the idiotic romeo from across the hall a free kick in the cobblers to set him on a more mannerly course where it comes to how to treat a lady.
No problem here with the organ music. I found it added to the mood and feel of the movie. And I have to admit, the shot that showed her bare feet working the pedals was particularly nice to see, for me anyhow. I'm not a fetishist by any stretch, I just found her to have very pretty feet is all.
It's horror/zombie MONTH on TCM, right up until Halloween I suspect. Looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us. My PVR is going to be busy I think.
