Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Breakfast at Tiffany's

I'm sorry, but.. I just don't have anything in common with this. Audrey Hepburn is almost perfect looking. She brings a sheen of consummate professionalism, which really gives the movie a big boost. But.. She's not terribly important to me. I could never understand any of her work. Too artsy.. To intellectual.

It's been compared to Macy's, but I think Tiffany's has a far more bitter, cynical sense of class.

Breakfast? Are you trying to say "breakfast" ? Oh, my God. Two things.
One: You can't get breakfast at Tiffany's, they don't do it anymore.
Two: Audrey Hepburn has two Oscars, one of them a humanitarian award. Did you know that, aboyes?

You actually watch Audrey Hepburn? You own an Audrey Hepburn movie? More than one?

if you type audrey hepburn imdb filmography, you get a list of all her movies, I like most of her movies, the one I enjoyed was "the unforgiven" or "roman holiday". I dont put too much thinking into watching movies. they are made to make a buck and to entertain me. She has a small part in the lavender hill mob. a funny film.

somehow the movie reflects our condition of constantly searching for things we enjoy. good luck on your search.

fguerra1. How thought provoking. Great posts, I mean really.. Great posts. More affirming than anything I've read on IMDb.

thanks aboyes 1989. i like to see movies that have been nominated. that way i can see what others consider good. i am watching boom town with spencer tracy and clark gable. nominated for black and white cinematography and special effects. good achievements. when the nominations come i.e. cannes, independent spirit awards, oscars, etc I try to see them. it's exciting, rewarding and entertaining.
