quite enjoyable flick but i could have handled without the some of the rage. i have yet to come across a movie with robert ryan where he doesn't play a bad guy role. the quality on this, especially in the opening credits, looked a bit rough for this time period, similar to a 1930's monster classic, which i liked actually. after all a splendid ending.
at the airport got to cancel the flight,
guess i should have told you sooner i got a fear of heights,
if god wanted man to fly, he'd given him wings,
there's no land greater than sweden for me to get inside of that thing,
and i got to stay on land or sea,
so remember don't go crazy on the map with ink,
you got to be out of your cotton pickin mind,
to think ill travel cause the sun is behind a cloud,
so save the environment, save the bank account,
and develop a healthful fear of flight.

PeterBlues, Robert Ryan didn't always play the bad guy. Check him out in Men in War and The Set-Up, for example. They're both great filmsI am especially fond of The Set-Up.
Ryan is one of my all-time favorite actors. He was phenomenally talentedhis performances manage to be both sensitive and electrifying. That he was sex on a stick didn't exactly hurt, either.
