I LOVE this. It's the stupidest immitation of a race in all moviedom, and it goes on.and on..and on. And Jerry just laughs and laughs. It's such a dumb moment that I rerun it again and again. A real knee slapper.

did you notice how later when Jerry's choking him and Earl's face is all contorted, he shouts out "Do Chinese! Do the Chinese!" That was almost the most perverse moment in the film, second to Earl's suggestion that Kathryn Grayson would be prettier if her face was cut up a bit with a razor.
Did I not love him, Cooch? MY OWN FLESH I DIDN'T LOVE BETTER!!! But he had to say 'Nooooooooo' -

Adding to that scene immensely is the dumbfounded look on Stanwyck's face as she watches Jerry nearly bust a gut - she has no idea what is so funny, and seems to be thinking "Why did I come back here?"
