And put it on in December - around Christmas too!

Even though I have this movie on DVD, I'm always glad to see it show up on a broadcast. I've had this recurring "if I won the lottery" thought - up until it was recently bought, there was this neighborhood cinema, built in the 1930s in a mock-Tudor commercial block, that had laid dormant for years. I would have loved to have bought it and occasionally run a movie I like, money being no issue. I absolutely would play this movie (imagine seeing it in a dark theater!) with maybe roasted chestnuts and a bowl of hot punch at the refreshment counter.

Our cinema (Theatre Clwyd) showed it a few years back. They had a mug of mulled wine and a hot mince pie included in the price of the admission. Superb!!

This movie, this version is broadcast EVERY YEAR. I wait and watch for it, and sometimes it's not easy to find. In the past, FX has shown it, and on Christmas Eve has shown it in a loop, over and over again. So far in 2016, I can find only one showing on Dec 22 on TCM.
