Volodymyr Palahniuk (you may know him as Jack Palance) made his first sizzling movie appearance here. He seems to be 'channeling' Richard Widmark's first famous role as a psycho killer - right down to tossing a sick, helpless person from a high place! Maybe Widmark gave him some pointers on throwing invalids.
