I love the Marx Brothers & greatly enjoy ANIC. Watching it again just the other day I noticed a hole in the plot. The brothers,along with Annette,are all locked up in the Casablanca Police jail & pondering how will they break out to save the day.Later on we see all four of them outside of the jail cell & headed for the police office.We never did see a scene showing how they got out of their cell.Was that edited out from the original movie,or just the version I was watching on TCM?

Thank you.Always wonder why TCM had to edit out,or use an edited version of ANIC? The scene you note had to take,what,12-seconds or so?

They made some noise and called for the guard. When he came, they grabbed his handcuffs and locked him to the bars. Then they pulled part of his hat down over his eyes.
