That scene where Mr. Miniver is recuperating in bed after serving his duty as a civilian soldier: Walter P's pajama-clad rear takes center stage when he rises out of bed (in response to his wife's admission that a German soldier showed up), and you have to wonder who composed that shot.

That shot does not exist. I have seen this film many times, including just recently. You might want to watch it carefully again. Perhaps get some glasses.
It's amazing the things that people WANT to see, which don't exist.
