Not really that famous, but country singer and The Voice… winner? Meghan Linsey.
She rode the same bus.
Ian Somerhalder is from a town a half hour away. His mom was or is a stylist, and I remember a stylist I had tolked about meeting him because a coworker was friends with him.
Britney Spears is from the same parish (Louisiana counties), but like the rural most northern part, almost into Mississippi. Her sister and parents live in my town now.
If you expand to New Orleans, there's too many to name. I may be missing a few too. -

Living is cheap here. I do some work but it's like cleaning and odd jobs, not what I'd call an actual job, and doesn't really make much of an impact, but our mortgage is half the cost of what a place like this would cost to rent. My sister makes decent money. -

Hammond LA? I thought Pistol Pete wad from another Louisiana town. The movie about him was filmed in the town where I went to school (Ponchatoula) , and at my junior high. I had English class in one of the classroom scenes.

No. I was looking at Covington. I mainly know about him from the movie, which I rented a few times as a kid, and my dad's stories about seeing him play, but I have seen clips on YouTube and he was definitely legit.

Yeah, Covington, as I said, is like a half hour away.
But yeah, the movie was filmed at my school and the town around it. There may have been some scenes in Hammond, but not sure. Hammond has a lot of films and at least one TV season under its belt as a filming location. -

Yep. I also met her one time before her porn career. Like, not anything special. Just hanging out with friends, and her friend was friends with my friend.
She's from the same town as my sister's boyfriend. There was also someone on imdb's soapbox from there.
