I wholeheartedly agree. "Mark of the Vampire" is one of the best Halloween night movies ever. Fantastically visual

It really did have a great atmosphere. I would like to know if the house was a set, or a real house.

This movie was all done in a studio. MGM only made this one horror film so I don't know if the set ever got re-used.

1935’s Mark of the Vampire is Browning’s final spookshow mixed into a hybrid of horror/Crime. The picture contains everything masterful in its extraordinary 30’s ghosthouse flavor and graveyard atmosphere. Includes incredible music, painted fog drenched graveyards, chrome moons, a good decent twist/characters. The imaginative Cobalt blue sideshow freakshow level poster is cool too and it looks much like a 1920’s French painting and everything in it is a masterwork. I consider it to be in the top 5 of Lugosi’s most extraordinary pictures
They come from the bowels of hell. A transformed race of walking dead. Zombies guided by a master plan for complete domination
