Signature Whale dolly shot?

At about 10 minutes in, in the scene with Gloria Stuart and the two doctors, there's a great dolly shot that follows a character into an adjoining room. The camera tracks "through" the wall in a beautiful set which includes a very nicely decorated cutaway of the obstructing wall. Kinda hard to explain, but there's a similar scene in Whale's
Frankenstein
when several characters are searching the Frankenstein home for Elizabeth.
Made me want to look for that kind of shot in other James Whales films to see if he used them consistently as sort of a "signature" shot.
Anybody know offhand?
