Several on this site mention that she is 21yo. I don't think she is or looks that young. This misconception perhaps came from one of her comments to her husband, the envoy - something like, "I'm free, white and twenty-one." This only implies she is of legal age, i.e. over 21. I remember this phrase from growing up in Ohio in the 60s but never realized it was common enough to be in a 1923 script. Kind of shocking in this day and age but then so was seeing white bwanas whipping black porters in the 1932 Tarzan the Ape Man.

Miss Dupon as Helen was 26 when filming, and in the film she plays 21 years old girl.
