What are some rock bands who recorded albums that sounded like they had hopped on the disco bandwagon? I can think of two. A lot of KISS fans consider their "Dynasty" album to be disco. I thought it was KISSco. Chicago recorded a "disco" album. I think it was "Chicago 13".

Not a rock group, but ABBA's "Arrival" album is the same. Only one disco song on the album (Dancing Queen) yet it is considered to be a disco album. Weird. I even saw Wikipedia call "Money, Money, Money" a "disco" song, even though it is a whiter-than-white theatrical-like song that is impossible to dance to.
I once saw an album by John Paul Young listed on a record database website as being "disco". I listened to the album, and there's not a single disco song on it.

I was going to mention Chicago. I watched the documentary that aired on CNN at the beginning of the year, and they played a clip of "Street Player".
You are correct in saying it is Chicago 13 that was their disco album.
