This might sound sacrilegious, but I just never got The Beach Boys. I know Brian Wilson is credited with experimenting with different things in music, just like The Beatles who I love. It's just that I've always found their vocal harmonies really annoying. Is anybody with me? I will say I appreciate some of the songwriting. I saw the Meat Puppets (my favorite of existing bands) in concert a few years ago, and they did an amazing cover of "Sloop John B."
