Before you say "two hit wonder? What the hell is that?", here are some examples of two hit wonders:
Vanilla Ice with "Ice Ice Baby" and "Play That Funky Music"
A Taste of Honey with "Boogie Oogie Oogie" and "Sukiyaki"
Pilot with "Magic" and "January" (they did have two additional top 40 entries, but these weren't major hits)
Robin Jolley had two hits in Australia with "Marshall's Portable Music Machine" and "Do You Wanna Boogie"
Anyway, does anyone have a favourite two hit wonder?

My favorite two hit wonder is Kim Wilde, who's best known for "Kids in America" and "You Keep Me Hangin' On" in America. She has bookoos of hits in her native England, but only really 2 hits in America.
I actually even once made a post on the Music General board about two hit wonders and famous two hit wonders. -

Indeed, lots of artists may have lots of hits in one country and only one or two in another. For example, John Paul Young and Divinyls are usually seen as one-hit-wonders in the US, but had a good deal more hits in Australia.

Yes, Epstein was the Cyrkle's manager. Bobby Hebb ("Sunny, once so true . . . I love you") performed before the Cyrkle did. Epstein, however, wasn't his manager. Both Hebb and the Cyrkle played ten or fifteen minutes each and were warmly appreciated. The reception for the main act was much warmer, as you might imagine.

I adore Mi was a third hit for Color Me Bad - I see a problem saying someone was a hit or two wonder cos it depends on the Country - Snow made have one hit in USA, but in Canada he had severals

I miss listening to genuine rocker chicks like them. How do I know they were the real deal? Well only a real rocker chick would do this:
During their performance at the 1992 Reading Festival, the band experienced "technical difficulties with their audio equipment" and were forced to stall their set. The rowdy crowd grew restless and began throwing mud onto the stage. In protest, lead vocalist Donita Sparks removed her tampon on-stage and threw it into the crowd yelling "Eat my used tampon, beep Sparks has remained unapologetic about the incident. This has been referred to as one of the "most unsanitary pieces of rock memorabilia in history."
