It seems to take a sort of natural effort to comprehend the feeling behind it, like with talking and gesturing.
Also, when auditioning for a musical at a community theater, the people who are better singers feeling-wise can't sing on pitch or anything so much. You know what I'm talking about, perchance?
…So, my secret is that I'm already able to play and follow music, so the technic comes naturally. I don't struggle with the rudiments. I've wanted to sing since I was 5 and was in church choir age 8-20 mostly. Things like gymnastics and ballet helped. I started singing before playing music, on piano or anything. Piano seems hard to start. Lucky, my music teacher taught us to read music before, which I wanted to play violin before that even, just hard to get things started..
