I can't even think of one. It's been so long. Radio DJs would discuss upcoming albums of various artists, and sometimes morning talk shows would invite that artist to promote the release of their upcoming album. They usually would perform the first single to be released from the album.
I think now they just play the single when it drops. You find the album on some streaming service like Amazon or Spotify.
