I took violin lessons in 1975 and haven't attempted to play much since. My fingers are just too big. Men that start as kids can adjust.
I gave my violin to my three-horned grandson. I call him that because he plays three embouchures well: clarinet/sax, bassoon, and trumpet. He also is a top high-school jazz guitarist.
