I play a little different than most people. I prefer Horde strategy. Now I only do this when there are at least 4 players. In fact the more opponents you have the stronger this strategy is. I don't try to hold territory. Aside from the single units you have to place in the beginning I place all my units in one country. Each turn I attack my weakest neighbor and take 1 country, 1 card. I wait as long as possible to turn in cards for maximum armies. It is possible for someone to beat me, to wipe me out, But it requires such a concentration of force & suicidal reduction of strength and no one wants to make that sacrifice. Once I feel I am strong enough I attempt to take the entire map in a single turn.
Anyone else ever play Horde strategy?

It’s ****ing easy. Take any of the southern continents first then expand elsewhere. Always use the Blacks.
I used to play the Hasbro computer game which was made by morons and was extremely buggy. Anyways I persevered through Hasbro’s inadequacies and always conquered the world. Was most powerful 6 year old in history

It is one of those games best begun with at least 5-8 people and several cases of beer around 6pm on a Friday or Saturday. You spend several hours drinking, shooting the bull, and trying your best to strategize through an alcohol induced haze. Even better if one of those playing is a natural comedian who tells the kind of stories that cause side splitting laughter with punchlines timed to make you shoot beer threw your nose mid chug. Good times. Goddamn good times!
