The point is being knowledgeable about cinema. That ranks higher priority than juvenile slurs.
If for no other reason, one oughta know about musicals simply as an aspect of American History. They were a fundamental part of our country's growth.

I'm not very well-versed in musicals (har har har) but I have seen bits-n-pieces of this one. There are indeed some larff-out-loud moments.
And –I must say –whoever the heck that Howard Kiel guy was –mighty rakish-lookin' feller.
