No, I think they took it down. I can't see the way to do it anymore, there's no "private message" or "send message" or whatever it used to say, in the place where that used to be.

That's weird. It still works for me. I just have to click on a user's profile and click on "send message".

It's still there. Click on the user profile, look in the 'quick links' box to the right. Second from bottom.
