I prefer "The Godfather", but the sequel is almost as great. The older scenes were in the book, which makes it very good. I wasted a ton of money buying them all on DVD chronologically under some title, and it wasn't as enjoyable as going back and forth with the old and the new.

I enjoy The Godfather but I remember finding Part 2 a bit too confusing and tedious. I must admit I haven't watched all of 2 but I might go back to it one day and try again.

I do think that they are Good Movies although I must admit that I am actually not really a BIG Fan of "
THE GODFATHER
" Movies.
That being said, I voted "Tie".
I think that the First 2 Movies are just as Good as each other. -

I enjoy both. The first one introduces us to the second one.
The second one allows us to see the humanity and love Vito had of family.
We see that Micheal ended up being a power hungry SOB, alone and miserable!
