It's not a great movie if you werent a little kid who saw it when it was new in the 90s I don't think you would like it. Pretty cheesy and stupid to be honest. Only good in a nostalgia way.

It's wholesome spooky fun for kids. That's why it's so popular. I thought it was a sweet story about the ghost kid protecting the new kids and neighbors from those witch sisters. Those witches were bitches even Sarah Jessica Parker's witch. Lol!

It's a hilariously wacky fun Halloween movie with some great characters in the Sanderson Sisters.
That being said, if you don't like it, you're not missing anything. Not everything is to everyone's tastes.
So many stories, so little time.
