        It doesn't take many of the "Skippy" shows to make you a big fan, does it? I just wish the show lasted for many years instead of just 91 episodes, and the "intruder" movie. It's good, too.

          There are NINETY-ONE episodes of Skippy? KTV shows the same 1967-68 eps over and overI thought that's all there was. How long did that show run, anyway?

            Wow! I haven't seen an episode of Skippy for about 38 years! We came home from school and watched it in the afternoon. I must check if these can be downloaded or something because I'd love to see them again.

              The life of an Australian actor during the 1950s/1960s:
              Late-1950s: Appearance or appearances in ABC TV plays and maybe a bit role in a US or UK movie filmed in Australia;
              Early-1960s: Appearances in ABC TV plays, or maybe an ABC mini-series; Also perhaps a guest role in "Whiplash";
              Mid-1960s: Guest role in "Homicide";
              Late-1960s: Guest role or roles in "Homicide" (perhaps a different guest role each year), "Division 4", "Skippy", "Contrabandits";
              1970s-onwards: At last, enough TV and film being produced in Australia for a truly varied career.
              Look up the adult guest cast in the "Skippy" episodes and see that quite a few had a career like this.
              George? Oh, for a man his age who's been through as much as he has, he looks terrible

                  Downloaded the first season of Skippy. So loved when I was a kid but a bit silly now. Regardless of the kangaroo arms doing miraculous things, it was really great to see it after all these years.

                    I USED to watch this back in the 90s on
                    Animal Planet
                    . I ENJOYED it!
                    “Call a SPADE, a SPADE; and a TRANNY, a TRANNY, or an IT!!!”.
                    "THAT'S SOME BAD
                    SHIT
                    ,
                    HARRY
                    !".
