LORD was a verisatile actor did STONEY BURKE then almost got the role of CAPTAIN KIRK but he wanted a producing credit and half ownership. In 1968 he got the role of a lifetime HAWAII 5-0 as MCGARRETT replacing ROBERT BROWN .
