The 1950s is noted for its cars. What is your favourite brand (or car model) of the 1950s?
My favourite is the Edsel. I know a lot of people hate it, but I like its styling very much. I also like the styling of Desoto's cars.

When we went on car trips, my parents suggested we have contests as we drove, like each kid picked a car make to look for and the one with the most hits was the winner. The one who picked Chevy always won.

Chevrolet was to the 1950s, what Pepsi was to the 1980s. It owned the decade.
I suppose having one of the catchiest advertising jingles of all time may have helped
New Du Mont high-resolution picture tube and high picture power give a fuller tone range

The 1957 Ford. This was our family car until I got into high school. When my 'rents got a new car, the Ford became the auto I drove to school. My first. I and my friends loved that year's cars and all the late '50s Fords and Chevrolets.
