Netflix at the minute are doing some of the best TV that i've seen in a long time, for me aside from a handful of HBO shows they're winning the entertainment wars hands down. And Luke Cage follows on with this theme as far as I'm concerned.
At the start I didn't have many expectations from the show I've never read the comic books and some of the shows surrounding comic books haven't been to my taste, out of boredom and inquisitiveness I thought I'd give it a go and I'm happy I did.
Story and the characters are brilliantly conceived (as I said I didn't read the comic book so I can only judge from what I've seen) , you're introduced to the plot slowly as well as each characters back story. Aside from being slightly race bias, I've got to say I'm in love the series (and a a number of the actress' in them Misty, Reeve, Clare to name but a few).
Cant speak highly enough of it, mix of actors I've seen from the past and new actors I've never seen before make it a good mix for me so in all go watch it!

It looks good, the actors are great but the story is, so far, dull and the pace is glacially slow.
It needs the equivalent of David Tennant or Vincent D'Onofrio to kick it into gear.
"Say it with flowers . . . give her a Triffid."
