I am watching Unhinged with Russell Crowe at the moment, and the opening scene is where he's parked outside his ex-wife's house. He uses an axe to smash the door, causing her and her new boyfriend to shriek in terror. The woman's screams and just when Crowe pours gas liquid on him is intense.
Another shocking opening scene would be Intermission (2003) where Colin Farrell beats up the grocery store chick after they flirt.
Anyone wanna share some shocking opening scenes?
