Looks like the Jason Bourne films are to be rebooted.

Verily I say unto theethe rumour mill has it that the next Jason Bourne film explaining how Bourne was first recruited will be sensibly set some years before the events in THE BOURNE IDENTITY so that the story line thus far is unimpaired. The working title at present is BOURNE YESTERDAY which is a not so subtle dig at the Bond producers who must have thought that Bond fans were born yesterday if they sheepishly accepted that all the Bond adventures that they had seen and enjoyed before CASINO ROYALE (2006) never happened. Sadly many fans did as dullards on this board regularly prove.

Shocking. Positively shocking.
That sounds like something Bond would say.
It's a shame they haven't been able to fit such a line in any of the four films they've made. Too bad there aren't more adventures. -

I'm looking forward to BOURNE ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. Paralyzed in service, he becomes an anti-war and pro-human rights political activist after feeling betrayed by the country he fought for.
PS: Then of course, NATURAL BOURNE KILLERS might also be interesting but would require another reboot afterwards.

Also, the story treatment is that his cover and secret past is blown and he becomes a well known celebrity for his global exploits.
Working title: A STAR IS BOURNE
Now, this is a signature gun, and that is an optical palm rea
