Things have been a little quiet on the James Bond front as of late after a flurry of rumors over the last month or so surrounding who may be taking over for Daniel Craig as 007. Things are still uncertain as to whether or not Craig is going to return, but if he doesn't, Thor star Tom Hiddleston is still regarded as the frontrunner. Unless you have been sleeping under a rock or simply don't care, you might know that Hiddleston just so happens to be dating Taylor Swift. What does that have to do with James Bond 25? We're glad you asked.
What is about to be said needs to be taken with a massive grain of salt, but it isn't completely inconceivable, so let's dig in. A new rumor that comes from an unnamed source by way of TMZ claims that Taylor Swift is dating Tom Hiddleston because she wants to play a Bond girl in the next movie. Being that Hiddleston may very well be next in line for the part, that may be her way in the door. This theory was supposedly cooked up by Swift's ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, who is reportedly quite bitter over the fact that Swift just went to the U.K. to meet Hiddleston's mom.
As of right now, Sony and MGM say that no decision has been made regarding Daniel Craig and his future as James Bond and also said that it is going to be a while before any official announcement is made. Last month, bookies were forced to stop taking bets on Hiddleston to play 007 next, because the odds tipped so heavily in his favor that they were all very concerned about losing a bunch of money. He is still largely considered the frontrunner, but he debunked the rumors recently. It isn't like he would be able to say anything other than that at this point. Paul Rudd famously denied the Ant-Man rumors point blank prior to the official announcement, so that happens often enough.
Now, back to this whole Taylor Swift nonsense. She does have a bit of a history as an actress, but never something as large as taking on the role of a Bond girl, let alone being the first Bond girl in the first movie that would feature the man taking over for Daniel Craig as 007. She had bit parts in The Giver, Valentine's Day and she lent her voice for the animated feature The Lorax. Granted, not every Bond girl (in fact, many of them) don't exactly have an impressive resume. Often times, the main qualification is how good they look in a revealing dress or a bikini. By most accounts, check and check. Odds are though, this is never going to come to pass.
Who knows? Maybe Swift is more interested in doing the theme song for the next James Bond movie than she is acting in it. That seems more likely, though still very unlikely. If Tom Hiddleston does get cast as Bond, there is almost no way that the producers would want the circus that would come along with casting his very famous popstar girlfriend as the next Bond girl. If we find out that Damien Lewis is the real front runner for the part and Taylor Swift starts dating him, I guess we'll know for sure. -

With stars like Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, and James Norton rumored to play the next James Bond, we still have no idea who will be replacing Daniel Craig in the coveted role.

Bond 25
won't be hitting theaters for another two years, big names are already being thrown to play a role that's almost as iconic as the British super spy himself the next Bond girl!
Online polls have revealed Margot Robbie is the favorite to land the iconic role in the next 007 film!
According to betting site Paddy Power, the Suicide Squad star has the strongest odds to play the next Bond girl, sitting at 12/1!
Other actresses with favorable odds are Emily Blunt with 16/1 odds, Emily Ratajkowski with 22/1, and even Emma Watson with 40/1 odds!
Though Robbie would make an exceptional Bond girl, we're not convinced she'd be too interested in playing such a supporting role at this stage in her career.
The 26-year-old recently explained how important it is to find roles in which the female lead is strong and integral to the story, telling
Woman's Day
: "I want to keep looking for roles where the main interest will be in the character and her importance in driving a story forward, rather than her relationship with a male character."
So, it looks like the role will have to be REALLY beefed up to get Robbie interested enough after all, who wouldn't love it if the next "Bond Girl" turned out to be 008?

I can sort of understand how they can do "odds" for casting Bond since there are actual reports about people allegedly being considered for the role. But no one is talking about actual news for Bond Girl casting yet, it's just about what the fans want.
That said, Emily Blunt as a Bond Girl would be awesome. Can't really see Emma Watson unless they had Bond seduce a mousy secretary or something. -

Mit "Harry Potter" wurde sie zum Weltstar. Anschlieend spielte Emma Watson zwar nur in wenigen Hollywood-Filmen mit, war jedoch weiterhin als Model und Werbegesicht sehr gefragt. Nun könnte der 26-Jährigen Britin ein weiterer Meilenstein in ihrer Karriere bevorstehen als neues Bond-Girl an der Seite des Geheimagenten.

The Brokeback Mountain reboot excited fans to no end because, with changing times, the society too has supposedly opened up. Hence, it would have made an interesting watch to see Margot Robbie Emma Watson take on the story.
However, here is a spot of bad news. The Brokeback Mountain remake with the two actresses is just a rumor. The movie is not happening at the moment. But we wouldnt be surprised if the makers decided to do the reboot based on the fan reactions. However, this is not an end to the bad news. Many believe that even if it was made, the actresses would reject the reboot in favor of starring in the upcoming James Bond movie instead.
Fans believe that Margot Robbie Emma Watson would make the perfect Bond girls. However, they have stiff competition from actresses such as Emily Ratajkowski and Emily Blunt. An article in Perez Hilton has revealed that a betting site called Paddy Power conducted a poll to find the odds against actresses who might make the most fitting new Bond girl.
The results showed that Robbie was a fan favorite and first choice as the next Bond girl, states a report in Stuff NZ. Blunt followed the Australian actress closely as did Ratajkowski and Watson. In terms of numbers, Robbie, Blunt, Ratajkowski and Watson stand at 12/1, 16/1, 22/1 and 40/1 respectively, informs a Digital Spy report.

, set to release in 2018. James Bond made a lot of news when former Bond actor Daniel Craig announced about retiring from the role. Speculations about the next agent were rife and Thor actor Tom Hiddleston was considered as a front runner for the role after his The Night Manager performance, states an article in Australia Network News.
Top Hollywood names such as Idris Elba and Henry Cavill too were tossed around for the role. Also, with the new James Bond not being announced, fans then hoped that the makers would consider a gender swap. Simply put, fans wanted a Jane Bond more than a James Bond. They considered many actresses including Gillian Anderson and Emilia Clarke for the role if the next MI7 agent becomes a woman.

SILENT Witness star EMILIA FOX is usually seen sporting a fetching white boiler suit as forensic expert Dr Nikki Alexander.
But the actress could soon be swapping microscopes for champagne flutes as she is eyeing up a role in the next James Bond blockbuster.
Emilia says she wants to join the franchise and follow in the famous footsteps of URSULA ANDRESS, HALLE BERRY and ROSAMUND PIKE.
And she would love pal IDRIS ELBA to star alongside her.
In an exclusive interview, Emilia said: Producers probably think its too late for me to be a Bond girl but I would love it.
I would like to go in as one of the MI6 characters.
There are several strong contenders going for Bond but I would like to see Idris take over from DANIEL CRAIG.
He would be a cool Bond.
However, Emilia admitted she might not fit in with the role as raunchy Bond girl as she doesnt feel comfortable stripping off for the cameras.
She added: Ive never wanted to get naked or do sex scenes.
It can be gratuitous.
I would never suggest its a good idea unless its entirely warranted.
Emilia also opened up about helping her cousin LAURENCE FOX get over his marriage break-up with BILLIE PIPER by assisting him with his music.

I found it really emotional to film as I think that it focused my awareness of whats going on around us.
And Emilia, who has worked on Silent Witness since its 2004 debut, hinted shes not sure how much longer it will go on.
She said: We never know were the last people to find out whether it will keep going.
But the audience plays a huge part in their loyalty to the show and have continued watching it.
The good thing is we have to evolve with ever-changing forensic science and technology and the way that crimes are being solved.
I still find it exciting and each time I go back it feels as new as the first day it started.
Like Bake Off without MARY BERRY, Silent Witness wouldnt be the same without Emilia.
