We are fighting against enemies that recon no limits, no rules, no laws, no regulations, zero, doing whatever they want, however they want, whenever they want, to whomever they want (the concept for uninvolved civilans doesn't exist for them unless they can exploit that to cause european tears in their favor), human meat shields is the doctrine and sport of the day to them while we must drop on our knees and kiss their butts every time some little kid of theirs picks up an AK or RPG and promptly gets tagged somewhere in for it, we are fighting against enemies who laugh at our crippling civility and exploit the beep out of it to further advance their campaigns against us.
you bet your ass that we need guys like Kyle, yes he's a goddamn beep hero. -

Feel free to move to a country that doesn't have to send its kids off to fight everyone else's wars.Maybe that's more your speed.
We won't miss you,it's not like we were relying on you to bolster our military,we have a few hundred thousand women who took the oath so that "guys" like you wouldn't have to fight.
Thank God it's not the 40s. -

He was a war hero but also a huge liar
Kyle's honesty had already been called into question multiple times. He had claimed in his book that he was at a bar where he heard Jesse Ventura, the Minnesota governor who served in a NAVY unit that became the SEALS, badmouthing the troops that served in Iraq. And that he punched Ventura out for his disrespect. A jury found that Kyle made up the whole story and awarded Ventura $1.8 million in damages. That verdict came after Kyle had been killed.
Kyle also claimed to have been dispatched to New Orleans immediately after Hurricane Katrina. From a perch atop the Superdome, he said, he killed "30 armed assailants" who were menacing the city. The Washington Post quoted one of Kyle's officers saying, "I never heard that story."
Neither did anybody here.
Those aren't the only lies Kyle is suspected of telling, but it's enough to establish a pattern. He also made up how many medals he earned -

I play enough video games to know that ALL snipers are cowards who have to camp at least a half click out from Charlie's current twenty. If a person can't kill someone with anything shorter than a garden rake in hand-to-hand combat, they are no hero to children everywhere.
