For years The Daily Show was not only funny under Jon Stewart but it had a lot of heart. He came off like he truly cared about his audience and never had to try too hard to be funny. It all felt so natural, like your funny friend was clowning on the news. Then Trevor Noah took over. Now please understand that I was aware of Mr. Noah before his current hosting gig. I knew of his stand up career and to be honest was not a fan at all. With that said, I love The Daily Show so much I wanted to give the young man a chance to win me over. Well it has been almost five months now and I have watched almost all the episodes so far and I am finally ready to say that this kid has completely ruined this show!!! His jokes miss WAY more than they hit, his whiny nasal laugh at his own jokes to spur unresponsive crowds and most of all the correspondents total lack of effort during his tenure are just brutal to endure. The correspondents can sense it as much as the audience.the magic is gone! You had so many talented people to choose from Comedy Central even after Colbert and Oliver left and you picked this clown? Every fan knows Samantha Bee and Jason Jones should have taken over. Why do you think they left? They were insulted! Even if you wanted a younger, fresher face Jessica Williams is ten times funnier than Noah EVER will be. Like I saidjust sad!
