I detect sarcasm. But you are actually right - in real life actors are surprisingly very similar to their on screen roles. Very precious few are different in real life form their roles. As much as actors like DeNiro or Nicholson are praised - they are very similar in real life to their on-screen types.

Very true. The other day I met Sir Anthony Hopkins and he was eating people.

Unless you've met every actor in the world you have no way of knowing that. Also, many actors play many different types of roles so they can't be all of those characters in real life.
As much as actors like DeNiro or Nicholson are praised - they are very similar in real life to their on-screen types.
And I'm sure you've never met either of those two gentlemen either. And if you have, I doubt you've spent enough time with them to make an accurate assessment of "how they are in real life".
