Movies with blind folks are usually good.

I haven't seen Pastoral Symphony yet, but I watched another movie about blindness a few weeks ago. It's actually called Blindness. Mark Ruffalo and Julianne Moore starred. It's about an epidemic of blindness that affects nearly everyone. Harrowing but excellent.

I saw a movie with Julianne Moore being blind, but it was with Alec Baldwin.

Different movie. That's interesting that she should be in 2 films about being blind.

Shelley Winters drowns in a handful of movies, too!

Yes! BTW, in the movie I mentioned first, Julianne is one of the few who don't go blind, so that puts a different slant on it.

"Blind" (Norway) is a very unique and good movie. 8/10

No spoilers (unless you understand Norwegian)
Every time I mention this movie, someone replies with "the one with aLeC bAldWin?" even after I give them the correct year.

I've yet to see this film, but I love the Andre Gide novel upon which it's based, and I would love to see the film. Sadly, I can only find clips from it. Here's one, for what it's worth.

99% of movies are right here, including this movie.

                                Oh, bless you for this,
                                @/.
!! I will watch it as soon as I can. Time is short for me these days, but I'm intrigued to see what was made of one of my favorite Gide novels.
