I thought she was brilliant! Her and McLaggen - hilarious!
I was really glad that they had lots of comedy in this installment, not the usual, 'Harry these are dark days' blabbity blap

I have to b68agree. She was pretty fantastic. And yes, the humour in the the movie counter-balanced the rather dark/grim aspects scattered throughout (but, thankfully, the humour wasn't too silly or anything. It was just the right amount of funny moments). Lavender and her obsession with Ron contributed towards a lot of the funnier moments in the film. I've seen the movie twice now, and she still cracks me up in it. Her "He senses my prescence!" amused me this time around (whereas, the previous time, that bit had kind of slipped by without me particularly noting it).
I just love her enthusiasm and how she cheers on Ron at Quidditch. She gets
so
emotional when it comes to him (ie. if Ron's happy, then she's SUPER happy, if he's upset, then she's REALLY upset, etc). Also, if it's even possible, I got even more of a laugh from her drawing that heart on the window of the train, and putting her and Ron's initials in it and all the other things she added to it. Just the way she does it is hilarious (plus all the effort she puts in).
I think my favourite bit, though, is still her final scene. The one with her gripping the spoon ever so tightly (I thought she was going to break itor throw it across the Great Hall at Ron's and/or Hermione's head/s) and giving them the death-stare of a lifetime. She's so great, and although I'm sure we were supposed to be as annoyed with her/fed up with her as much Ron wasI just
can't
hate her. She makes me laugh too much in the movie (both viewings of it).
