Seriously they only have open auditions for publicity. It was just a publicity stunt. Casting directors go through agencies not just random people.

But she belongs to a reputable agency in London. It's not like they picked someone off the street with no experience and no representation.

And I went to the open casting for Lavender and I wasn't allowed in because I was too old (think I had to be 18 and I was 19 at the time)
I'm born in 1988 and according to IMDB she was born in 1987 meaning she would have been to old to attend too hmmm very fishy if you ask me!!

She never went to the open audition - she had her audition way before that through her agency - that's how she got the part.
