How do you cut celery, what is edible and what is not. Making it in the steamer with brussels, carrots(yuck), potatoes, brocoli and butternut squash split over 2 tiers.
Hoping this is low purine enough to encourage my injury. -

Cut the stalks any way you like don't like chunks of celery. If you're one of those, chop it very finely so it "disappears" when cooked. De-string them first if the strings bother you.
The leaves are usually used in soups, stocks and finely chopped into pasta sauces.
