Her bio says she was born in San Diego and is an American actress, but there's just something about her voice/accent that makes me think "That's the worst American accent I've ever heard!" Seriously, it's so bad that it distracts me.

I heard from some other poster that she was raised in England.
Completely unconfirmed and just rumour.
And as I say that, I'm realizing I'm adding to it.

It is not just you who think it.
For the entire first season of LOT and most of her time in Arrow she sounded like she was drunk and I don't me I had a couple of drinks at lunch I'm talking full blown slurring words.
Despite being a native English speaker she also seems to be physically incapable of pronouncing the name 'Martin' properly. It is really pretty awful considering two of the cast are brits who sound like they have more natural American accents than her.
