Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Lindsey Vonn

    jeffyoung1 — 12 years ago(January 07, 2014 06:38 AM)

Why did Lindsey Vonn foolishly continue to ski on her injured knee? This is typical dumb jock behavior where, no pain no gain. She wasn't on a football team where every player is needed and injured guys grit out the pain and injury. I knew and everyone knew she was committing a foolhardy risk by continuing to ski on her injured knee. She didn't give her knee a chance to heal. I call that athletic greed. Now Lindsey in her older years can tell us when it's going to rain. I wanted to see Lindsey in the Olympics and now she's spoiled it for all of us, much less herself. Yeah, I'm supposed to show such sympathy but how do you do so for such bad judgment?
