Late to the party I know, but I just had a chance to see MBV and wow! To my memory that is the only time I've ever seen the mpaa alow a shaved full frontal scene. Usually the women who do full frontal have a merkin or something on.

I don't think that she could have asked for a body double. Body doubles are was actors/actresses who were cast to appear in the whole movie and just aren't willing to appear in a nude scene or two. In the case of this role the entire part was "girl who's naked for her the entirety of her 5 minute part in the movie." She could have just turned the role down and they just would have found another girl to do it. If you are goin2000g to bring in a body double for that part you may as well give the body double the part.

And for her guts and courage (especially the risk of injury running jumping and hiding with no clothing protection) she's jumped to one of the top slots of MY list of personal fav actresses
Being fit and a beauty doesn't hurt, but in other films, I've seen the filmmakers use 'nude models' like Playboy centerfolds when they needed a nude scene, and I've cringed seeing a 'model' 'try to act'. And.that is why many films don't use models for nude scenes where you need to act (like she acts terrified or angry, etc.) You need an ACTOR with guts to go full monty.

It was pretty aweosme. I was hoping to see a little pussy, but the lighting was so, that even though she was fully naked, you really didn't see her nether reigons too well. Just that she was shaved. Not bad though.

Nudity is a metaphor for revealing the vulnerabilities of the character. She is a true artist, committed to the craft, and she should be admired for her artistic sensibilities. Lesser actresses fear to explore their characters, while Betsy Rue is a bold visionary. And she was hot!!
